When a Calgary homeowner came to Pittman Concrete with a wishlist for their outdoor space, they wanted a complete backyard transformation, and they wanted someone who could handle all of it. Pittman Concrete took on the role of general contractor for the project, delivering every element in-house from initial design through to the final finishing details.
The project began with a full exterior design and planning process managed by Pittman Concrete's in-house, award-winning designer. Working closely with the homeowner, we developed an outdoor concept that honoured the full wishlist while staying within budget.

The centrepiece of the backyard was a specialty curved outdoor fish pond with a negative edge and a natural stone waterfall. It was a technically demanding pour requiring precise forming, finishing, and coordination with the surrounding hard landscaping.
