Pittman Concrete was contracted to complete a full concrete removal and replacement at a condominium site in Calgary’s Silver Springs neighbourhood. The scope covered the removal of an existing fence and the demolition and removal of previous concrete walls, footings, and sidewalk. Once the previous concrete elements were removed, our team installed new footings, walls, and a finished sidewalk. The fence was also reinstalled upon completion.
This was a complete start-to-finish concrete overhaul. Pittman Concrete managed every phase of the project.
Removal of the existing fence, followed by full demolition and removal of the previous walls, footings, and sidewalk. The site was cleared and prepared for the new installation.
New footings were poured and finished to specification, ready to cure before wall installation could proceed.
Walls formed and poured two days after the footings, allowing adequate cure time before loading. Walls were left to cure for a full seven days before the project was signed off.
Sidewalks were poured and broom-finished alongside the wall installation. The top of the wall received a matching broom finish for a clean, consistent look.
With the concrete work complete, the fence was reinstalled, leaving a clean, finished site for the condominium residents and management.
A full concrete overhaul was delivered by Pittman Concrete in five working days, with every phase, including demolition, footings, walls, sidewalk, and fence reinstallation. The condominium site was left with new, properly constructed concrete infrastructure built to last, with minimal disruption to residents throughout the process.
